MATTHEW JOSHUA COHEN (Barry / Syd) holds an MA in Educational Theatre in Colleges and Communities from NYU Steinhardt and a BA in Theatre and Music from Brandeis University. A Brooklyn native and a Vocal Music graduate of LaGuardia Arts HS (the Fame School), his professional credits include Soho Playhouse's, BILL W AND DR. BOB; Gene Frankel Theatre's, CZESTOCHOWA MUSICAL CHAIRS; Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre's, THE ALBATROSS; Bare Knuckle Theatre Festival's, JANET'S COOKIES; Off-Off-Broadway Playhouse's, FISH; and Myriad Opera's, Cavalleria Rusticana and Tosca.  His other past credits include, Harold in HAROLD! THE MUSICAL, Major-General Stanley in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and more.

MARLAIN ANGELIDES (Winifred)  Off-Broadway Theatre credits include:  GOING ONCE LAUGHING TWICE (Heidi Hoe); Off-Off Broadway:MY WIFE IN A CHADOR (Abeera); West End: Lautrec Tour/International: SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (Stephanie Mangano); HAIR (Dionne); OTHELLO (Desdemona), ELEGIES...(Judith); ANNIE  (Miss Hannigan). Singing credits include: Hi-5 (Warner, Greece), Eurovision Song Contest (representing Cyprus), BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre (Finalist).  She received her PGDip in Musical Theatre at Royal Academy of Music, London.  As primarily a hard rock/metal band singer, she has also dubbed for Disney, is a working voice over actor, and loves to observe human relations. Oh, and loves encapsulating the Evil Queen... BEWARE! Thank you, Daniel and June.

Charles Czarnecki (Music Supervisor)  New York based creative entrepreneur, Charles Czarnecki, stands at the helm of a new and innovative generation of entertainment. His exhilarating work and influence can be seen and heard in theater, film, live concerts, and recordings of the highest caliber. From his awards of merit and distinction as a classical pianist, to his catalogue of tracks and albums of every genre as a music producer, Czarnecki makes for a particularly unique visionary. The maestro made his Broadway debut conducting JERSEY BOYS and his Carnegie Hall debut conducting (and orchestrating for) the New York Pops. He's scored four films to date, all of which have seen the screens of international festivals including the Cannes Film Festival.  As a personal music director and creative confidant, his clients range from Broadway stars to Hollywood visionaries. He has orchestrated and vocal arranged over ten full-length musicals, several live concert and cabaret acts, and is the musical supervisor of over 15 projects. This year, Czarnecki composed his first modern ballet, which is the subject of a documentary film celebrating the diversity of choreographic visionaries. His work as a creative consultant and a project coordinator can also be seen in most of his projects.  Charles earned his Bachelor's in Classical Piano Performance and Psychology from Purchase Conservatory of Music (SUNY), his Master's in Classical Piano from the Manhattan School of Music, and certificates of completion from the Sarasota Music Festival, Piano Summer at New Paltz, the International Academy of Music (St. Petersburg, Russia), and the Amherst School of Music. Veronica Paredes (Stage Manager) is excited to be doing her first New York City show with a really awesome cast and crew! She has her BA in Theatre Arts and Communication from Carroll University. She found her passion of stage managing in college when she stage managed a reading of ANGELS IN AMERICA PART TWO: PERESTROIKA.  She also stage managed FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and a reading of VAGINA MONOLOGUES.  She also acts as well! Some of her favorite roles are: THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD (Mrs. Cartwright), THE GLASS MENAGERIE (Laura), and THE IMAGINARY INVALID (Mr. Florid). Veronica would like to thank June and Daniel for giving her this wonderful opportunity. She would also like to thank her friends and family for their support. and I look forward to a successful run!

Noah Silva (Stage Manager) is a current junior at Hofstra University where he is earning a BFA in stage management. Recent Hofstra credits include HOW THE OTHER HALF LOVES (Stage Manager) and FALL DANCE CONCERT (Stage Manager).  He would like to thank his family, L216 and Schuyler. 

Noriko Sunamoto (Pianist) is a music director, composer, arranger, orchestrator and pianist from Japan.  While her foundation is in Classical music, she draws inspiration from Rock, Pop, Latin, Jazz, Gospel, and R&B.  She received a B.A. at Kunitachi College of Music and an M.A. at Tokyo Gakugei University.  Upon graduation, she received the Takeoka Prize, and has won multiple electric organ and composition competitions.  She studied Jazz at Berklee College of Music, Orchestration at Mannes College The New School for Music, Film Scoring at New York University's Steinhardt School and Musical Theatre Writing at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.  Noriko has performed with MAMMA MIA!, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, WICKED, Takarazuka Teatre Co., and numerous Disney Productions.  Her original musicals have been produced in amusement parks in Tokyo.  Noriko made her Jazz/Latin band debut in New York in April 2013 and musical theatre debut at Off-Broadway in January 2014.  She has started collaborating with musical directors, composers, playwrights and actors from Broadway musicals and Disney theatrical works for various musical theater projects here in New York.

BREENA BECK is currently performing Off-Broadway in GOING ONCE, LAUGHING TWICE! at St. Luke's Theatre.  She is a recent graduate of the BFA Musical Theatre program at Emerson College and also worked as an Apprentice at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

She is so excited to be joining the cast of RAPUNZARELLA WHITE!

ALICE VAN HEUVEN (Rapunzel) graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy NY in May 2014. She has performed in the 13th Street Repertory Theatre before in the original musical GREY STREET in the role of Astrid.  She recently played Sally in the musical, I LOVE MYSELF, which ran at The Players Theatre in the Village.  Before moving to Manhattan, Alice lived in Belgium where she is a known pop artist (under the name of Alice Avery), and has been in several musicals and plays.

LESLIE C. NEMET (Winifred) - Is truly grateful for the opportunity to work on this show. She has worked on Broadway workshops, Off-Broadway, television, film, radio, webisodes and is a professional Director, Acting Coach and Hair/Make-Up Artist as well.  Recently she performed 15 roles in the Off-Broadway show OLYMPICS UBER ALLES. Leslie was nominated for a NY Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Performance By A Lead Actress in DIVORCIFICATION. Other favorite theatrical roles include: Ann in WELL, Francine in FRANCINE, Susan in COMPANY at the Lucille Lortel, Janice in A SOPRANOS CHRISTMAS (which she wrote) and several one-woman shows.  She will be performing the upcoming one-woman show ASK ZSUZSANNA later this month.  On television, Leslie is thrilled to be the Pizzeria Woman on Sesame Street.  Recent film work includes Alone, True Story, Birdman, Death Do Us Part and the award-winning Do It Yer'Self. She is currently in pre-production for a web series she created, On The Prowl. This is dedicated to my Prince Charming, whose love and support makes every day a fairy tale!

SCHUYLER MIDGETT (Snow White) was born raised from Virginia Beach. Schuyler is thrilled to be a part of such a fun show!  Recent Credits: Busch Gardens' Christmas Own (female vocal swing), Busch Gardens' Howl-O-Scream (monster stomp on ripper row, female lead vocalist), and SHREK THE MUSICAL national and international tour (Gingy, teen Fiona, Dragon u/s).

LORELEI MACKENZIE (Cinderella / Millicent) is ecstatic to finally be playing a real-live princess. Lorelei is an award-winning composer, playwright and performer. BRENT HILDRETH (Burly Bob) is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful show!  Brent graduated from AMDA a couple years ago and has been pretty busy ever since.  Some favorite credits are FANTASTICS (Matt), FOOTLOOSE (Ren), THE CONFESSION (Dylan), GODSPELL (Lamar), CHARLIE BROWN (Linus), A CHORUS LINE (Don), BAT BOY (Ron), GREASE (Danny), and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Dentist).

He would like to thank his friends and family for always giving and extreme amount of support. And would like to thank June and Daniel for allowing me to be a part of this.

ILANA GABRIELLE (Snow White) is so excited to join this fractured fairytale kingdom! Ilana was recently seen in COMING: A ROCK MUSICAL OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS (Magda); URINETOWN (Soupy Sue); and in her cabaret show, Kissing Frogs: A Tale of Dating Misadventures in New York City, which was featured on ABC News.  She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music.  Ilana  loves cheese, her tiny puppy Lady Liberty, and vintage furs. XO’s to the brunch crew, mom and daddy, and Dustin at The Mine. Thank you to Daniel and Charles for making my princess dreams come true! 

RALPH SCHNEIDER (Beau / Rhoda) is very grateful to be a part of this fun and lively show —and cast!  He is a sophomore at Baruch College, where he has recently performed in LYSISTRATA and IN THE BLOOD.  He is also a part of TGW Acting Studio, and played a host of roles (Hortensio, Merchant, Hostess) in their TAMING OF THE SHREW this past summer.  As a member of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, Ralph sang with Barbra Streisand on her Back To Brooklyn tour.  Thank you Mom, Nola, Dad, family, friends, June, Daniel and company for the support.

DEANNA GIULIETTI (Rapunzel) is a senior at Hofstra University, majoring in Theatre Performance, from Cheshire, Connecticut.  Recent credits include Henry Bullingbrooke in RICHARD II, Meredith Parker in BAT BOY THE MUSICAL; Katerina Serafime Gleb in SLAVS!; Janet Van De Graaff in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE; Electra in GYPSY, Sue Snell in CARRIE THE MUSICAL; Pepper in I SING!; Paulette in LEGALLY BLONDE; and Rachel Jackson in BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. Huge thank you to Derek for making my dreams of being a princess come true!

JUSTIN CHESNEY (Burly Bob) is from Bangor, PA and currently attends Hofstra University. Past Credits include Black Sheep players at Sherman Theater in SPRING AWAKENING as Ernst, and RAGTIME as Harry Houdini. College credits include DROWSY CHAPERONE as George, BARE as Lucas, BATBOY as Pan, and as Romeo in A 50 minute ROMEO & JULIET.  Justin is currently a Sophomore at Hofstra and is pursuing a BFA in Performance.

DEREK BADO (Barry / Associate Producer) is so humbled to be sharing the stage with this amazing 'Punz' family that we have created. Born and raised in New Hampshire, he is excited to have finally found where he belongs performing in New York City! Derek earned his Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance and Business from Hofstra University, and has been back multiple times as an alumni Music Director. Making his NYC stage debut with Rapunzarella White, he would like to thank June and Daniel for the overwhelming support, opportunity, and invaluable mentorship throughout this process. He would also like to thank all of his incredible friends and family, "Cuz in the end, that's all ya got!" 

ALIA MUNSCH (Rapunzel) is thrilled to be a part of this goofy cast!  She is graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a degree in Dance. Favorite roles include IN THE HEIGHTS (Nina), ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (TiMoune), KISS ME KATE (Katharine), andSPANDEX THE MUSICAL OFF-BWY (Stephanie). 

She can currently be found slinging burgers and singing for customers at Ellen's Stardust Diner.

DAVID MONK (Herschel / King Rosenbutter) is thrilled to join the family of Rapunzarella White!  Since his early days as a child actor in South Africa, playing in OLIVER TWIST, WINNIE THE POOH, SOUND OF MUSIC and THE KING AND I, David believes whole-heartedly that family theater is essential to any community.  Developing young audiences to appreciate theater provides each child with the life-long gift of enjoying the art and culture of every city.  Please continue to support NYC Family Theater.

MARK SINGER (Herschel / King Rosenbutter) Dramatic roles include THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Otto Frank), TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD (Atticus Finch), and Jacob in the soon to be released independent film Virtuous Scoundrels.  Recent musical theater credits include: THE CRADLE WILL ROCK and PINS AND NEEDLES at the HOWL! Festival; and the new musicals, GIOVANNI THE FEARLESS, BIRDSEED, and THE STORYTELLER.  Among his operatic roles are Escamillo in Carmen (La MaMa), and leads in works by Holst, Barber, Bernstein and Rorem.  Along with his wife, Darcy Dunn, and musical director, Julia Mendelsohn, Mark is the creator of the Mountaintop Celebration of Song in Hunter, NY.  Among their productions are A LITTLE BIT IN LOVE, HEADLINERS AND ONE-LINERS, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG, and AIN'T WE GOT FUN.  His most recent cabaret performances were at New York's Metropolitan Room, and he is currently developing a new, original production, All Mankind Has Lost Its Reason, about the music and history of Weimar Germany.  Mark is a founding member of the Lone Star Theater Troupe, which performs several times a year at the Cornelia Street Cafe.  A former partner in the investment firm of Sanford C. Bernstein and Co., he is currently CFO of Finn Partners Public Relations.
